I’m Kayla, I was born and raised in the Bay Area. Growing up and having lived in Oakley, Discovery Bay and Brentwood, I consider myself an East Bay Area expert! Before becoming a Realtor, I dabbled in a few different jobs including medical assisting, teachers aid in a preschool. However, most of my time before being an agent was spent in restaurants as a waitress and manager where I developed excellent communication skills. I loved working in restaurants but as my three beautiful children began to grow up and gain interest in extracurricular activities the hours that were required at the restaurants just weren’t fitting into my family life anymore. I needed something that allowed me to be able to control my own hours, I needed to fit work into life instead of life into work. I wasn’t sure what that profession looked like until I was doing one of my favorite past times of scrolling through real estate sites, viewing all these incredible houses, guessing what they would sell for before they actually did. Then it dawned on me, REAL ESTATE! Following the real estate market was something I had subconsciously been doing since buying my own home! Now I love being able to educate buyers and sellers on the housing market and the buying and selling process! I love being able to meet new people and learn about their journey in life that has led them to their decision to buy, sell or invest!
